[Linux-disciples] Ubuntu and Debian not seeing my HD

Does the hard drive show up in the BIOS settings?

Does it show up with a Knoppix or Ubuntu Live CD? (I expect not if the
installer isn't see it, but thought I'd ask.)

Hopefully you have a nice complete backup?
