Right, but I guess what I mean is that I wouldn't have
guessed that recompiling *the shell* would give those
devices meaning.
So what must be happening -- if I understand this correctly
-- is that compiling with --enable-net-redirections compiles
a separate module. Then maybe when bash is invoked, it
modprobes that module or something similar? I'll check the
source.
