Yes, I am manually adding lines to the fstab. And yes, Ann and I both
have a habit of just yanking the thing out without unmounting and all
that. If unmounted, it usually does reset (the only exception is I
have a universal card reader that uses 6 mount points when plugged in
and is sometimes quirky when each point is unmounted ).
So, we will work on taking the 3 seconds needed to unmount the drives.
