I don't have physical access to the machine; it's in a
remote hosting facility. That alone wouldn't be a bugger,
but root logins through ssh are forbidden.

Yep, someone else does, and I've emailed him to ask him to
add me back into wheel. But he's not around, and I need to
take care of something ASAP. I suppose I'll just have to
wait for him.
