[Linux-disciples] hotplug issues

Anyone ever had issues with hotplug?  When I run '/etc/init.d/hotplug 
status', I get absolutely no output at all (it just takes me back to the 
shell prompt).  I also don't get anything for 'start' or 'stop' either.  
The script is there.  Don't really know where to go from here. It looks 
like I am using the version from 3/29/2004.  Are other using this 
version successfully?
