Ordinarily computer-part retailers have a chart for all the
various manufacturers, telling you whether you need to pair
identically-sized RAM chips. You could call PC Connection or
CDW. ([company name].com in both cases) Or you could google
for your particular computer model number. Or consult one of
the RAM sales companies, like Kingston, and see whether
their website has any information about your model. Or call
the original manufacturer of your computer.
That's what I'd do, anyway.
