I don't think dmesg is configurable that way.
There might be something under /proc or /sys where you can turn off
those messages though.
It seems to me that maybe Karl has some sort of debug kernel setting on.
What does
grep -i netfilter_debug /boot/config-`uname -r`
tell you?
