I am still trying to use the elusive ardour program,
and am still getting caught in jack.

karl at ubuntu:/ $ uname -a
Linux ubuntu 2.6.8.1-5-amd64-generic #1 Sat Feb 12

I can play music with xms etc.

There seems to be an answer at
http://www.ussg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0410.1/1806.html

but it reads like jibberish to me.

Can anyone translate the above?

=====
Grace and peace,
Karl
