[Linux-disciples] how to copy dvd

If someone were to try and copy a movie dvd using k3b
and received an error that said,

"The source DVD seems to be too large (31.2 GB) to
make it's contents fit on a normal writable DVD media
which have a capacity of approximately 4.3 Gigabytes.
Do you really want to continue?"

would they have a way to spread the movie over
