[Linux-disciples] trouble getting IP address with ath0

Have you tried
iwconfig ath0 essid any
?
What sort of output do you get from iwconfig ath0?
It looks to me like you're not joining the WLAN.
Does BC have any WLAN security/authentication? Sometimes you need to
give them your MAC address before you can join the WLAN.
