[Linux-disciples] NIS questions

Hmm ... I just can't get the NIS domain name to persist
across reboots. My yp.conf file is below; I figured that
using 'domain PHAI server 10.0.1.4' would do what I wanted,
but apparently not. How do others keep their domains going
across reboots? It must be something easy that I'm just
missing.

I assume the problem with that 'domain PHAI ...' line is
that it says 'Any requests for that domain will go to that
server,' but it doesn't say 'this machine belongs to domain
PHAI.' For the latter, 'domainname PHAI' should do it, but I
can't get that to persist across reboots.

Any help is, of course, greatly appreciated.

# /etc/yp.conf - ypbind configuration file
# Valid entries are
#
#domain NISDOMAIN server HOSTNAME
domain PHAI server 10.0.1.4
#	Use server HOSTNAME for the domain NISDOMAIN.
#
#domain NISDOMAIN broadcast
#	Use broadcast on the local net for domain NISDOMAIN
#
#ypserver HOSTNAME
#ypserver 10.0.1.4
#	Use server HOSTNAME for the local domain. The
#	IP-address of server must be listed in /etc/hosts.
