jack is certainly available for Mandrake:
http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/mandrake/9.2/contrib/i586/jack-2.99.9-4mdk.i586.html
You might be missing some urpmi.cfg sources; make sure you have:
main ftp://ftp.rutgers.edu/pub/Mandrakelinux/devel/10.0/i586/Mandrake/RPMS {
hdlist: hdlist.main.cz
with_hdlist: ../base/hdlist.cz
key-ids: 26752624
}
plf ftp://ftp.club-internet.fr/pub/linux/plf/mandrake/10.0 {
hdlist: hdlist.plf.cz
with_hdlist: synthesis.hdlist.cz
list: list.plf
key-ids: caba22ae
synthesis
}
contrib ftp://ftp.rutgers.edu/pub/Mandrakelinux/devel/10.0/contrib/i586 {
hdlist: hdlist.contrib.cz
with_hdlist: ../../i586/Mandrake/base/hdlist2.cz
key-ids: 26752624
}
and do the appropriate update commands, etc..
It's possible some packages you want are only available in 9.2 sources,
in which case you could add those as well, see
<http://plf.zarb.org/~nanardon/> for more info.
