[Linux-disciples] Jack under Mandrake

Mandrake seems to lack a bunch of packages that Debian has.
The one that's a bit of a sore spot for me right now is
jack, the CD ripping/encoding frontend. Mandrake has
kaudiocreator, which is fine as far as it goes, and the UI
is nice, but it seems as buggy as any Windows program. Any
idea how to get packages working in Mandrake that don't
appear to be in the Mandrake database?
