[Linux-disciples] Strange reverse-resolution

Every now and again a visitor to my website looks like so:
cassiopeia - - [08/Mar/2004:14:24:15 -0500] "GET /cgi-bin/blosxom/index.rss HTTP/1.1" 200 85556 "-" "NetNewsWire/1.0.8 (Mac OS X; Lite; http://ranchero.com/netnewswire/)"
Any idea how 'cassiopeia' could appear here? I believe
Apache is reverse-resolving every IP address it gets, so how
could it happen that a non-fully-qualified domain name could
appear in my logs?

Sade's] recommended practices, the idea no longer
is blasphemy, but rather hygiene, pleasure which
is hygiene too, and a charmed and *interesting*
life. An *interesting* life is the supreme concept
of dullards.''
