I can't get my sound card to work under 2.6.7, even though
it appears that all the appropriate modules have loaded.
Checking dmesg, I see
ALSA device list:
#0: Ensoniq AudioPCI ENS1371 at 0x1000, irq 11
which is great, but above that I also see
PCI: Found IRQ 11 for device 0000:00:0c.0
PCI: Sharing IRQ 11 with 0000:00:0e.0
PCI: Sharing IRQ 11 with 0000:01:00.0
The three devices being shared on IRQ 11 are
00:0c.0 Multimedia audio controller: Ensoniq ES1371 [AudioPCI-97] (rev 04)
00:0e.0 Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3c595 100BaseTX [Vortex]
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: 3Dfx Interactive, Inc. Voodoo Banshee (rev 03)
Presumably that's bad. Any idea how I could get everything
to use a separate (and available) IRQ?
