I thought someone on this list would know the answer to this
gentleman's question. Any idea of a GNU/Linux command-line app
that will accomplish what he's looking to do?

Phosters,
I have a couple of music files originally stored on WMA format that I'd
like to convert to mp3. Is there a way to do this without re-ripping the
CDs?
Thanks,
Tommy Perkins

``So that leaves us with the cumbersome phrase, `he or she,'
which is what most modern editors try to force on the poor
writer. But it leads into swamps of clumsiness, like: `A
journalist can't be so shy that he or she can't bring
himself or herself to go up to a stranger he or she sees
and ask him or her to give him or her his or her opinion.'"
