[Linux-disciples] GNOME Battery Charge Monitor doesn't show increasing charge

When my Thinkpad R51 is plugged in (and I know it's plugged
in, because the laptop gives a little affirmative beep when
the plug goes into the outlet), the GNOME Battery Charge
Monitor doesn't always rise. Right now it says that it's
down to 9% charge, even though it's plugged in. If
UNplugged, by contrast, the charge *will* decrease.

...Hm. Now I've disconnected and gone to another outlet.
When it was now plugged in, the charge monitor had gone up
to 10% -- so clearly it *can* rise in charge sometimes. And
now that it's plugged back in, the charge monitor has the
little electricity symbol, and the charge measure is rising.

Any idea why this would happen? Is this just a bug in the
charge monitor?
