[Linux-disciples] USB scanners and Linux

My understanding is that your safest bet is always an Epson. I've had
mixed luck with several scanners but have never tried the model you
indicate.
If you can't find a definitive source that says "this exact model
works well with Linux" I would just pick a different model. There are
a huge variety of scanners available; it should be easy enough to find
one that is confirmed to work well.
