[Linux-disciples] df weirdness

You probably need to mount the /proc filesystem.

But, no, lspci and /proc/pci access the same information.  Try lspci -vv
for more detailed information.

You could also check what modules are loaded in the 2.4 kernel where the
network card (presumably) works.  Or was it the 2.2 kernel?

Note that 2.6 has a new system for loading modules; you need to put the
modules in /etc/modules.preload (I think that's it) rather than
/etc/modules.
