Yeah, I definitely need to try that. I was using "memtester" for a bit, 
which was going bonkers, but I wasn't convinced it was actually 
detecting bad RAM versus whatever else was destabilizing the system. 
It's like the eye that can't see itself, you know? But a memtest boot CD 
would presumably eliminate a lot of potential factors, assuming it is a 
64-bit memtest.
