[Linux-disciples] Apache logging to MySQL

It occurred to me today that logging from Apache to a
database rather than to a text file would be damned handy.
See, e.g.,

http://www.onlamp.com/pub/a/apache/2005/02/10/database_logs.html?page=2

Then none of the log-rotation weirdness, or any of the
file-locking stuff that I mentioned a little while ago,
would have to hapen; the database would take care of that on
its own.

Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing? I'm
going to start screwing around with it on a test server at
work, but I want to know if anyone has hit any roadblocks
that I should know about.
