[Linux-disciples] Changing quoted-printable encoding in mutt

I dislike the standard email client choice of how to encode
the word "From" appearing at the beginning of a line;
typically the client adds a '>' before the 'From'. I prefer
to add a space (' ') there instead; it seems less intrusive.
Yet it doesn't look like this is configurable in mutt. Does
anyone know whether it is?
