[Linux-disciples] Sudo prompts remotely

Hmm: Try running a command line

ssh hostname sudo ls \~

It'll prompt you for the sudo password on the other end.
When you start typing your password, it'll appear on the
screen in the clear. Is there any way to keep that password
off the screen?

More generally, this is the problem I'm trying to solve:

I want to ensure that no matter what script is being invoked
remotely, the sudo password will never appear on my screen.

Thoughts?
