Does anyone understand /dev/input/mice? How does linux decide which mice
get grouped together there?
Rachele's internal mouse has gone walkies, so we just want to have the
external (USB) mouse be active, otherwise the pointer is not
controllable. /dev/usb/mouse0 doesn't map to anything anymore--it seems
like somewhere along the 2.6.x kernel series all mice are intelligently
put under a single device node, /dev/input/mice. But what happens if
you want to take a mouse out of there? There's no obvious way to do it.
Or maybe there's a way to just do it at the level of X config?
Pointers to documentation on same would also be appreciated.
