I'm looking through the source, and I can't really tell where 'unset'
and 'set' are defined. My inclination is to email some vim developer and
ask for guidance to get me off on the right foot. Is that gauche?
Perhaps more precisely: I know that's gauche, but is it so gauche that
I'd be ostracized and a blood libel attached to my family?
