[Linux-disciples] 'unset' in vim

I'm used to using 'unset [variable name]' in mutt and, I believe, other
places, and I often end up accidentally using the same syntax in vim. In
vim, however, the appropriate syntax is 'set no[variable name]'. So,
e.g., the opposite of ':set paste' in vim is ':set nopaste' rather than
':unset paste'.

Not that it's really necessary, but just out of curiosity I'd like to
know: is there any way to program vim so that ':unset [variable name]'
will do the same thing as ':set no[variable name]'?
