[Linux-disciples] Trademarks

Sure, if Linus didn't have trademark rights in Linux then someone could
go ahead and create their own product and call it Linux and there would
be great confusion in the marketplace.

Incidentally, you don't need a registration to have a trademark--just use
in commerce.  The registration gives a federal cause of action and other
advantages.
