[Linux-disciples] Converting from Ogg to MP3 en masse

Is there some tool out there that will allow me to do
something really simple like
ogg2mp3 ~/mp3s
and then go have a cup of coffee? This command would convert
all the Oggs sitting under ~/mp3s to MP3 format, would
appropriately metatag the MP3s using the metatags from the
Oggs, &c. A graphical tool would do, but it's not necessary.
I get enough people complaining about my use of Oggs that I
feel I ought to give them MP3s.
I know I could script this (it would involve 'find', mplayer
dumping a WAV file to stdout, then 'lame' at the other end
of a pipe, plus some stuff to convert Ogg metadata to ID3),
but I'd rather not. It must already exist, ja?
