[Linux-disciples] Red Hat and Mandrake for Debian users

Every now and then I find myself facing someone's Red Hat or
Mandrake installation, and I fumble around for a while
trying to figure out how to do in those distributions what I
do quickly in Debian.

So: does anyone know of a 'Guide To {Red Hat,Mandrake} for
Debian Users'? Such a thing would be tremendously handy. I
imagine most of this imaginary guide would be devoted to
package management and slightly-altered paths.
