[Linux-disciples] nsswitch.conf, NIS, and sudo

Sudo doesn't appear to use passwd or NIS. I hard-linked
/usr/bin/passwd to /usr/bin/yppasswd, so that all requests
for a passwd change would go through the NIS server. Still
sudo seems to use my local password. Is there any way to get
around this? If slaniel is in sudoers, I'd

a) like him to be in sudoers on every NIS client, and
b) like sudo to use his updated password.

Is this possible?
