[Linux-disciples] Sound control in GNOME

I upgraded GNOME to unstable (2.6, I believe) yesterday, and
now my sound control is all wiggy: if I try to move the
slider up to increase the volume, it pushes itself back
down. Hence my volume is permanently low.

Any idea which package is responsible for that volume
control? I'll see whether there are any bugs reported for
it, whether it's upgradeable, etc.

As a matter of fact, I like bombing countries.

  KING: You do?

STEWART: Well, just purely for the knowledge of geography.
It's just fascinating to learn about these countries.''
