I got this error in syslog:
Jul 8 02:31:09 JeffTweedy smartd[21190]: Device: /dev/hda, new Self-Test Log error at hour timestamp 1
Jul 8 02:31:09 JeffTweedy smartd[21190]: Sending warning via mail to root at laniels.org ...
Jul 8 02:31:09 JeffTweedy smartd[21190]: Warning via mail to root at laniels.org: successful
The email that it sent only told me to look in the syslog,
specifically in /var/log/messages. There's nothing from
smartd in there.
Am I missing something?

``I'm not a pacifist in any stretch of the imagination.
As a matter of fact, I like bombing countries.
KING: You do?
STEWART: Well, just purely for the knowledge of geography.
It's just fascinating to learn about these countries.''
