I've started having trouble ssh'ing anywhere and I suspect it's because I
recently upgraded my system. I'm not sure where to look to verify recently
upgraded packages.
When I type ssh -v bostoncoop.net, I get:
OpenSSH_3.6.1p2 Debian 1:3.6.1p2-11, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL
0x0090703f
debug1: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh/ssh_config
debug1: Rhosts Authentication disabled, originating port will not be trusted.
ssh: bostoncoop.net: Name or service not known
Though everything in my /etc/ssh/ssh_config is commented out, I tried
enabling Rhosts Authentication to no avail.
ps. I tried connecting to MIT with a login and had the same problem.
