using wine, i can run certain programs without linux
equivalents (e.g. bibleworks) from the win side of the
partition. my question is, is there some way to
install these windows programs directly onto the linux
side of things? there are no binary files. i would
love to be able to delete the dark side of my
partitions.

Where should I put them? How do I get bibleworks to
see them.

I should further state that when I try and run the
install.exe, I get the program screen, and click on
the install option. The windows install shield start
up and when the progress bar gets to the end is error
out.

The exact message I get is:
--Start--
Error Number 0x80040706
Description: Object reference not set

Setup will now terminate.
--End--

currently are running under Windows?

I am still looking at your other suggestions.

Sword etc. aren't at the level that I need yet.

suse does not seem to have crossover-office.

Not much luck with shared NTFS (disastrous experiment
with part*** ma**c, but i recovered). But this is
more of a novelty than a necessity.

Thanks a bunch.
