[Linux-disciples] Detailed logging from Thunderbird

I'm working on a client's machine right now, using
Thunderbird within Windows. I'm having some odd troubles
connecting to an SMTP server -- no trouble connecting to the
same server's IMAP port -- and I'd like to look at detailed
logs of Thunderbird's attempts to connect to the SMTP
server. Does anyone know how to extract this information?
Does it even exist?
