[Linux-disciples] Keyboard and mouse cut out

I'm getting an error now that's similar to the one that I
posted below to L-D 11 months ago. This time, my keyboard
and mouse will stop communicating for a couple seconds at a
time, every few seconds: the mouse will stop moving and the
keyboard will stop receiving input. This only started today,
and I'm not clear why it's happening. I upgraded the kernel
to 2.6.8 yesterday, but I left the 2.6.7 kernel around just
in case. It doesn't matter which kernel I boot into; the
error still happens.
This isn't an X-specific problem, I don't think: I get it
even in my virtual consoles.
The keyboard and mouse where these errors show up are
my Logitech wireless ones. I unplugged the keyboard and
plugged in a standard wired keyboard; everything's working
great.
The wireless keyboard and mouse plug into the standard mouse
and keyboard inputs on the back of my machine; there's no
USB craziness happening.
Any idea what might be causing this, and how I might fix it?
