[Linux-disciples] df weirdness

When I run df and get the following on this new machine,
should I be worried?

Filesystem           1k-blocks      Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda1            -2440874949309         1         0  17% /

This is probably related to this message from dmesg:

hdd: The drive reports both 100663296 and 0 bytes as its capacity

Is that anything to worry about, do you think? And if it's
not a big deal, how do I get df to report something
friendly? Kernel upgrade?
