[Linux-disciples] Installing GNOME on a new Linux box

Oh well.

I wanted to add additionally that nvidia cards are infamous for requiring
proprietary drivers, at least for full functioning.  Especially for newer
cards.  You may have to go over and look at the nvidia linux website to
get it all straightened out.  It can be a major PITA.
