[Linux-disciples] Mailing List Membership Reminder Sent Twice

As all of you on this list may have noticed, the monthly bostoncoop email
list membership reminders are sent twice. This has been happening for at
least a year, maybe two. I can't for the life of me figure it out.

The two reminders are sent within 5 and 20 seconds of each other.
Otherwise they have all the same header information, etc..

I've googled for this problem, and several people have reported it and
been told, "check your cron jobs," to which they responded, "that wasn't
the problem," and no further suggestions were provided.

Obviously this can't be the case for every mailman list in existence.

The script is /var/lib/mailman/cron/mailpasswds and is run from mailman's
cron tab, /var/spool/cron/crontabs/mailman. I don't see mailpasswds
being run anywhere else under /var/spool/cron.

Can anyone suggest as way to track this down? I know it annoys some of
the bostoncoop list subscribers to get double reminders every month.
