There are various ways to do this, but I think the easiest would be to
use privoxy.  Assuming you are talking about a linux box, just apt-get
privoxy (for a windows box you can get privoxy from http://privoxy.org).
Then set your browser to use localhost port 8118 as the proxy server.

Privoxy has a setting to block flash for certain sites.  Once you've
installed privoxy and set up your browser, you can configure it by going
to http://p.p in the browser window.  The particular setting is "filter
shockwave-flash".

It's a great tool in general.
