Now hm. Is there any way to set it up so that "behind the scenes,"
'/weblog/file' redirects to '/cgi-bin/weblog?rightframe=file', but that
what the reader actually sees in the title bar of his browser is
'/weblog/file'? As it stands, using mod_rewrite in the way I described
above puts the long form of the URL in the location bar. I'd like users
to be able to copy the short URL out of their browser so that they email
the short form to their friends.

Is this possible without changing the Perl weblog code itself?
