CM is what it is, many have said it's unclassifiable and ever changing, so those who call it anarchy are putting a label on it and I would imagine many in it feel that it is setting an order; the proclamation of cyclist to use the road with fair rights.
Let the debate begin...

I do not ride with you because I work nights and will not give up a vacation day to do it but I am in sympathy with everyone on 2 wheels.
I have been hit twice, once accidental and once on purpose but the closest I have come to death by vehicle was a near miss by one of those goddam articulated 39 buses on its way back to the barn on Columbia Road. They are a menace and should not be on congested city streets.
I get the impression that CM is organized anarchy if that's possible so I'm not clear who would be dedicating what.. In my world the proceedings would simply start with a moment of silence.

Your question implies that CM is only out to stand up for the rights ofother CM participants. I guess you consider "our community" to not befellow cyclists, but just those who know about and choose to ride withCM.
So I guess that would make CM a club of sorts and not a politicalstatement.

Hey everyone as most of you had already heard weve lostanother member of our community this wednesday due to a questionablecollision with an MBTA bus in Boston, and though the circumstances ofthis tragedy are still under investigation it doesent really matter whowas at fault. Every one of us faces the risk every time we go outriding in this city and I believe it would be very appropriate todedicate this months Critical Mass to his memory. Perhaps a moment ofsilence or some home made signs and t shirts, Im not sure but we are aclose knit community and should pay our respect in the best way we can.You can feel free to email me with any suggestions I will be personallytaking that friday of work to join everyone else in the ride to raiseawareness of our presence on the road and will be riding a neon greendual shock mountain bike, dont be shy and say whats up. And remember tobe extra cautious when commuting around town.
