Good point about the downtown garages, Phil.  I parked my bike at 75
State St most days for a year and never had trouble, though I was
parking all day rather than all night.  The bikes are in direct view
of active security staff and cameras, though I don't actually expect
them to take any action if someone messes with your bike.  That garage
is open to everyone, but you might want to try 101 Arch or one of the
other ones on Phil's list since they're closer to South Station.
