I realized after I sent the last e-mail that "planners" wasn't the best
term. I meant to refer to every official (from the long-dead street
planners to the most recently-elected politician) who has an impact on
traffic, be it through zoning, planning, legislation, etc. We do, for the
most part, have the streets we have, but how they are used is continually up
for reconsideration.
