[*BCM*] Cyclist injured at tonight's Critical Mass

Around 8:05 pm, a participant in tonight's Boston Critical Mass fell  
and seriously injured himself while riding in the underpass from  
eastbound Memorial Drive to the Longfellow Bridge.  Fire trucks and  
ambulances quickly arrived at the scene, and the injured rider was  
taken to Mass. General. Hospital.

Does anyone know how he is doing?   I did not see him fall, but from  
what I heard, he did not hit any car, other bicycle, pothole, sand,  
or other obvious road hazard.  It sounded like his bike suddenly  
failed under him.
