REDBONES 10th ANNUAL BIKE PARTY & BENEFIT
and TOUR DE FRANCE TV VIEWING & BREAKFASTS

Davis Square, Somerville, MA -- Locals ride to Redbones each year for
the annual Bike Party and Benefit which signals the unofficial start to
the cycling season. For 10 years, Redbones and several generous
sponsors have supported two bicycle advocacy groups: New England
Mountain Bicycle Association (www.NEMBA.org) and the Massachusetts
Bicycle Coalition (www.MassBike.org) with a street party and raffle
outside the restaurant at 55 Chester Street, Davis Square, Somerville.
>From a modest beginning of around 50 people gathered inside the
restaurant to a party attracting hundreds, close to $20,000. has been
raised for NEMBA and MassBike in the last four years alone.

Traditionally held the first day of National Bike to Work Week, this
year's party is on Monday, May 15 from 5:00 - 10:00 pm; tickets are
$15.00 and include Redbones fare and fixin's, a soft drink or beer from
Harpoon, 2 raffle tickets, live music and, of course, Redbones popular
free bicycle valet parking. Additional raffle tickets may be bought
for $2.00 or 3 for $5.00. Drawing for the prizes begins at 7:30 PM.
Since the party is outside on the street in front of Redbones, capacity
is unrestricted and all are welcome - from cyclists to pedestrians, T
riders to Zipcar members - reservations are not necessary.

Redbones is the lead sponsor and donates all the food for the event.
Other sponsors make raffle donations of up to $200.00 each in goods and
services. Items range from bike equipment to clothes, memberships to
subscriptions, up to the grand prize from Alternative Needs
Transportation - a cargo bike similar to the custom made Rib Rider used
by Redbones for dinner deliveries. For a complete list of sponsors,
including links to company web sites, visit
www.redbones.com/bikeparty2006.html.

Redbones Sets the Stage for Tour de France Breakfasts
Stage 10: Wed, July 12 & Stage 15: Tues, July 18

the Tour de France. $ 5.00 per person includes bicycle valet parking.

Square. Arrive in time for breakfast, stay to watch the tour and ride to
work - or another destination - when you choose.
