*CALLING ALL FRANKENBIKES!* -
Saturday, May 13 – 1pm to 3pm
UMass Lowell, South Campus –at Broadway and Wilder Streets, Lowell
Join us for Bike Design Challenge #2: Frankenbike Rodeo. *All handmade, unique bikes are welcome to enter*. Light-hearted competitions enable experimentation with design and engineering problems. Re-engineered bicycles will be piloted through several games in order to complete the challenge. Fun, not competition, is the real motivation.
Brave test pilots will careen on wheeled contraptions and compete for prizes from fabulous to hilarious. Come demonstrate your ingenuity with Wood Bikes, Choppers, Recumbents, Multi-Wheeled/Multi-Person Bikes, Penny Farthings, Tallbikes and Tricked-out Mutants.
Bring a picnic and come enjoy the games. Everyone is invited!
