Hi folks, 
My pal Blue wrote this. I edited it and added some
photos of us (which can befound on the internet!)
The topic of bicycles on roads brings out a lot of
opinions, some well-reasoned and intelligent. I'm
interested in yours. If you have one, and care to
share it, please feel free to tell me.
I think it's good for people to know this is
happening--both the rides and the arrests. (Being
handcuffed for hours, sitting in a paddy wagon, then
stewing in a jail cell--all for riding a bike--can
really get a guy thinking on people's feelings about
so called "bicycle activism," the impact of
automobiles on the environment, &c.) 
For more on the history of Critical Mass, police
responses to it around the world, and the ensuing
legal wrangling: Google it (like a normal person).
