Following traffic laws is NO protection. I was in NY last week and we were
attacked and blockaded by riot police and we were all stopping at red
lights. We didn't start blocking other traffic until we had to run from
the police. Me and 1000 other of my comrades were arrested for nothing
this week. I assume you would have been with the people chanting "let us
through" in the front of the ride and trying to negotiate rationally with
the police... They were all beaten and arrested.
