Using BCN
To post a message to all the list members, send email to bcn@lists.bostoncoop.net. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to BCN
Subscribe to BCN by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder. FAQ

Frequently Asked Question - How do I unsubscribe from the BCN email list?

Answer: There are unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email. The two options are:

(1) Visit http://bostoncoop.net/list and fill in your email address at the bottom where it says "unsubscribe or edit options"

(2) Send an empty email to bcn-unsubscribe@lists.bostoncoop.net

If neither method works for you, it is likely for one of these two reasons:

(1) The email confirmation for your unsubscribe request was routed to a spam or bulk folder. Check your spam, bulk, updates, and other automatic folders to see if there is an email from bostoncoop.net asking you to follow a link to complete your unsubscribe risk. In gmail, you can search all your folders by typing "from:bostoncoop.net in:anywhere" into the search bar.

(2) You attempted to unsubscribe an address different from the one you signed up with. This can happen when you subscribed with one address that forwards mail to another address. To determine the address you signed up with, open any email you've received from the BCN list and look view the "header" section (where "to," "from," and "subject" are provided). You need to unsubscribe the address that appears in the To: field.

If you've gone through all of the above steps and still can't figure out how to unsubscribe, send a request to bcn-owner@lists.bostoncoop.net to be manually removed from this list.
